Exercise Caution

In the classic poem, Desiderata, Max Erhmann wrote, “Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.”

This poem’s excerpt could have easily been written about the hair business.  Too many companies in our industry trick consumers into believing that they are purchasing quality products.  Fortunately, RHIAA strives for high ideals – we represent companies that consistently provide the best product available on the market.  When their clients are not happy, our members make it right.  Few others can match that promise. Working with a credible supplier with a long track record positions you to be the hero to your clients.  Unfortunately, most of these other companies do not know what they are purchasing, they do not know the source of the hair, nor do they know how the hair has been processed. If the companies retailing hair have only a limited understanding of the industry, low knowledge of supplier methods and brief experience with creditable manufacturers, how are they supposed to truly inform their clients? They cannot. That is why RHIAA supports companies that stand apart from the competition. Our members sell authentic Remy hair.  The associates at our member companies are trained to educate customers on how to take care of their virgin hair extensions. Are you carefully, selecting your suppliers?

Here is a paper written by a member several years ago to help clients, stylists and other entrepreneurs break through the clutter and deceptive practices in this industry.
